ARE LIGHTSABERS STILL IN FORTNITE? WHEN WILL THEY BE REMOVED, AND HOW/WHERE TO GET ONE

Here’s whether Lightsabers are still in Fortnite, when they’ll be removed and the locations of how and where to get one.

It’s been over a week since the Fortnite X Star Wars live event took place. After the event, Star Wars challenges were available to complete. There’s a total of five different challenges, all of which are staged. There isn’t long left to complete them to get the free cosmetic rewards.

There’s a couple of challenges that require you to have a Fortnite lightsaber along with Star Wars achievements that can only be completed with a Lightsaber. Let’s go everything we know about the lightsabers in Fortnite.

FORTNITE LIGHTSABERS

ARE THEY STILL IN THE GAME AND WHEN WILL THEY BE REMOVED?

Lightsabers are still in Fortnite and they’ll remain in the game even after the time to complete the Star Wars challenges comes to an end. One of the Fortnite Winterfest challenges requires players to destroy a sneaky snowman with a pickaxe or lightsaber, so they’ll be in the game until at least Winterfest ends on January 6th.

HOW AND WHERE DO I GET A LIGHTSABER?

There’s two ways to get a lightsaber, eliminate a player who has one and take their lightsaber from the loot, or find the special Star Wars fortnite box/chests which always contain all four of the lightsabers that are available.

The spawn locations for the Lightsabers in Fortnite are completing random, there’s no set spawn or location where you can get them.

IS ONE LIGHTSABER STRONGER OR BETTER THAN THE OTHER?

There’s absolutely no different in terms of the stats of all four of the lightsabers that are in the game. The only different is the colour, and for the Kylo Ren lightsaber, a slightly different look.

Remember, there’s not long left to complete the Star Wars challenges, so if you haven’t done so already, I’d strongly recommend jumping into some games now in order to complete them. May the force be with you.
