Winter Royale Duos 2019 Prize Pool Increase
Epic announced an increase to the prize pool on the Fortnite competitive Twitter account. The reasoning behind the increase is due to the number of players that are dropping into Arena Duos in order to prepare for the Fortnite Winter Royale tournament.
Whilst Epic didn’t state exactly how much they’d be increasing the prize pool by, they did state that the are adding over 20,000 new placements to the official rules. This change provides the opportunity for even more players to earn some money from their placement at the tournament. Even with Epic’s terrible communication this season, they always find a way to keep the player base happy.
